Importing your existing calendar
Already have events in Cozi, Google Calendar, Apple, or Outlook? You can bring them all into Jaimie. Get the export link from your calendar app (steps below), then send it to your household admin.

- Click Share Calendars at the bottom of the page
- Make sure Calendar of all events is checked (Shared)
- Click View or Send Cozi URL
- Click Copy Cozi URL โ it starts with https://rest.cozi.com/โฆ

๐ต Google Calendar
For ongoing sync: Google Calendar connect is live โ head to Account โ Integrations to connect it. When Google asks for permissions, make sure to allow calendar access so jaimie can read and add events.

- Send the zip (or individual .ics files) to your household admin

Tips
Natural language works โ no special format needed
Say /help anytime to get a command list in WhatsApp
Forward screenshots of appointments โ Jaimie will read them
Say 'done' after completing a task to mark it off
Jaimie sends a morning briefing at 6am and evening wrap at 9pm
Reply directly to one of Jaimie's messages to edit or cancel that specific event or task
Ask what's free
e.g. โWhat's free Saturday? / Find a 2hr slot this weekโ
Mark an event private so only you see it
e.g. โTherapy Thursday 4pm, just for meโ
Made a mistake? Just say 'undo' right after Jaimie confirms something
Ask about a group at once
e.g. โWhat do the kids have this week?โ
FAQ
Who can use Jaimie?
Jaimie is invite-only. You need to be added by a household admin before you can sign in or use WhatsApp.
Can I use Jaimie without the app?
Yes โ WhatsApp is the primary interface. The web app at jaimie.tech gives you a calendar and admin panel, but everything can be done via WhatsApp.
What if Jaimie misunderstands me?
Say โ/telljaimie [what went wrong]โ to flag it. Screenshots welcome. The team reviews all feedback.
Does Jaimie sync with Google Calendar?
Yes โ connect it from Account โ Integrations. Make sure to allow calendar access when Google asks for permissions.
Can I import events from Cozi, Apple or Outlook?
Yes. See the โImporting your existing calendarโ section above for step-by-step instructions per app. Once you have your calendar export URL or file, send it to your household admin to import.
Is my data private?
Yes. Jaimie is a private household tool โ your data is only visible to members of your household. It is not shared or sold.
Troubleshooting
Jaimie keeps logging me out โ I have to request a new link every time
Almost always one of two things, and neither is your fault:
1. The link opened in a different browser. On a phone, your email app decides which browser opens the link โ often its own built-in one, not the browser you actually use. Each browser keeps its own separate sign-in, so you end up signed in somewhere you never look. Fix: ignore the button and use the 6-digit code in the same email โ type it on the jaimie login page in whichever browser you are already using.
2. You browse in Private / Incognito. Private tabs throw away every sign-in when they close โ for every website, not just jaimie. Nothing can stay signed in there. See the next question for how to keep private browsing and still stay signed in.
I always browse Private / Incognito. Can I still stay signed in?
Yes โ add jaimie to your home screen. That creates its own little app with its own memory, completely separate from your browser, so you can keep browsing privately and jaimie will still remember you.
On iPhone: open jaimie.tech in Safari โ tap the Share button (the square with an arrow) โ scroll down โ Add to Home Screen โ Add. Then open jaimie from the new icon and sign in there using the 6-digit code (not the link โ the link would send you back to the browser).
On Android: open jaimie.tech in Chrome โ menu (โฎ) โ Add to Home screen.
After that you stay signed in for 90 days, and it renews every time you open it.
I did not get my morning brief or evening wrap on WhatsApp
WhatsApp only lets a business send you a full message within 24 hours of your last message to it โ that is Meta's rule, not jaimie's. If you have not messaged jaimie in a day, you will get a short โyour briefing is readyโ nudge instead of the full text.
Fix: send jaimie any message (even โhiโ) and the next 24 hours of briefings arrive in full. Your email briefing always arrives either way.
Where do I find the 6-digit code?
It is in the same email as the sign-in button, just below it. Enter it on the โCheck your inboxโ screen. It lasts 15 minutes and works once.
