By creating a household or using Jaimie via WhatsApp or jaimie.tech, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

Jaimie helps households organise calendars, tasks, shopping lists, and reminders via WhatsApp and a companion web app. It's provided “as is” — we work hard to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Accounts and households

The person who creates a household (the “principal”) is responsible for the household's account and for inviting members appropriately. You're responsible for keeping your account access (email, WhatsApp number) secure and for the accuracy of information you add.

Jaimie is intended for private household use among people who know and trust each other. Don't invite someone into a household without their knowledge, and don't use Jaimie to monitor or track another adult without their consent.

Acceptable use

Don't use Jaimie to send spam, abusive content, or anything illegal; attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service; or use automated tools to access the service outside the normal WhatsApp or web interface.

Your content

You own the events, tasks, documents, and other content you add. You give us permission to store and process it solely to provide the service to your household, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Paid plans

Some features may require a paid subscription, billed via Stripe. Pricing and plan details are shown at checkout. You can cancel anytime from Account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise.

Third-party services

Jaimie relies on WhatsApp/Twilio for messaging and, optionally, Google Calendar for sync. Your use of those platforms is also subject to their own terms. We're not responsible for outages or changes on their end that affect Jaimie.

Termination

You can delete your household's account at any time from Account settings, which removes your data per our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, or if needed to protect the service or other users.

Limitation of liability

Jaimie is a household organisation tool, not a substitute for your own judgement on time-sensitive or important matters (medical appointments, legal deadlines, travel, etc.). To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for missed reminders, data loss, or other damages arising from use of the service, beyond what you've paid us in the preceding 12 months.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated via WhatsApp or email before they take effect.
